It’s been a while since I’ve posted here: over two months, to be more precise. It’s been a busy winter for me, looking for work, working on and doing research for several poetry projects, studying web design and content management systems in greater detail, and, more relevant to this post, changing my name and my new spouse’s name.
So that makes this now the weblog of Eric Goddard-Scovel. According to the Social Security Administration at least.
If you’re interested in finding out some info on changing your name, especially in Indiana, I found a really useful page–“How to Change your Name in Indiana After a Marriage”–on eHow that goes through the major steps. It’s not anything mind-blowing, but if you’ve ever had to deal with several beuarocracies at the same time, you’ll know how troublesome it can be.
