Now Go Read “a light heart, its black thoughts”

My chapbook, a light heart, its black thoughts, is up for download at Beard of Bees Press. It’s number 60. I hope you’ll read it, and I’d love to see your comments. Don’t be shy.

  1. I’m really impressed with how this sequence came out. It’s funny, at times, consistently surprising on a linguistic level, and very often painful to read (those moments where the potential for critique in this process is most fully realized…ex. “My dear boys, what I wanted/was frightful, to be almost black, oiled, smiling and/in harness”). It’s a marvelous little collection.
